What We’re Doing

Rotating stations night for the Outdoor Adventure: knots, basic first aid, and Leave No Trace mini-scenarios.

Requirements Targeted

• Outdoor skills practice (knots and first aid).
• Leave No Trace principles and campsite behavior.

Materials

• Rope (one per Scout), triangle bandages or cloth strips, simple first-aid props.
• Printed LNT scenario cards.

Opening (2 min)

Scout Law focus: Helpful / Courteous in the outdoors.

Stations (10 min each)

1. Knots: square knot + one den-choice knot.
2. First Aid: small cuts/scrapes, blisters, when to get help.
3. LNT: scenarios about trash, noise, and wildlife.

Closing (2 min)

Group recap: one skill you can show at home.

At-Home Track

Teach a family member the square knot and review the family first-aid kit.

Safety Notes

Tool safety with scissors/knives if used; clear boundaries.
