A TYPICAL YEAR

Den meetings most Wednesdays, a pack meeting once a month, and a calendar of traditions families look forward to all year. Current dates are always announced in our Band group and by email. New families can usually join any time during the year — you don't have to start in the fall, so just reach out whenever you're ready.

Kickoff & join season

Sign-up nights — new families join as the school year starts; Bobcat badges get earned fast
First family campout — tents, campfire, s'mores, and flag ceremony
Service projects — giving back around Lithia Springs

WINTER

Derby season

Holiday celebrations — pack parties and community events
Pinewood Derby — the legendary one: build a car with your Scout, race the whole pack
Blue & Gold banquet — Scouting's birthday dinner, awards, and recognitions

SPRING

Advancement & crossover

Rank advancement — dens wrap up their required adventures and earn their badges
Spring campout & rocket launch — model rockets are a pack favorite
Crossover ceremony — Arrow of Light Scouts bridge to Scouts BSA

SUMMER

JUN – JUL

Camp & catch-up

Cub Scout day camp — a week of archery, BB guns, crafts, and outdoor skills with the Atlanta Area Council
No weekly meetings — we follow the school calendar and rest up
Pop-up fun — occasional hikes and get-togethers announced in Band
