PACK 62
Pack 62 is led by a volunteer Cubmaster and supported by a Pack Committee of parents who handle planning, finances, and program coordination. Every den is led by trained parent volunteers.
We follow the Cub Scout program as published by Scouting America — the same adventures, ranks, and standards used by packs across the country.
Wednesdays, 6:00–7:30 PM at Lithia Springs Methodist Church (Children's Building). We follow the school calendar — if school's out, we're out.
A parent or guardian stays for every meeting. It is a safety standard and part of how Cub Scouting works.
Pack 62 is chartered by Lithia Springs Methodist Church, which provides our meeting space, institutional support, and a long partnership in serving local families. The pack is open to all families regardless of church membership.
We are part of the Atlanta Area Council of Scouting America, which supports local packs with camps, training, and events like day camp and district Pinewood Derby races.
Every registered adult leader is background-checked and completes Youth Protection Training before working with Scouts. We follow the Guide to Safe Scouting at all activities, including two-deep leadership — no adult is ever alone with a child who is not their own.
YPT is required for all leaders and encouraged for every parent. It covers recognizing and responding to concerns, appropriate adult–youth interactions, and Scouting America's safety standards. The training takes about an hour online and renews every two years.

The easiest way to know if Pack 62 is a fit: show up on a Wednesday, say hi, and watch your kid light up.
